juglone = a piscicide (5-hydroxynaphthoquinone) used in
Japan and made from the roots and fruits of Juglans mandshurica (Juglancaceae). Other piscicidal plant chemicals include callicarpone, huratoxin, ichthyothereol, inophyllolide, justicidin, maingayic acid, rotenone, and vibsanine, all q.v.
